Your support through advertising in the 16^th Annual Sarah Backstrom Memorial Tournament Program helps to promote the Erie Community to our Tournament guests but also provides financial support for girls hockey in the Greater Erie Community. The  Sarah hosts  88 teams from 9 states and throughout Ontario.  Female hockey players ages 7-62 participate in the two weekend event: Feb. 5-7, 20110 (Girls) and Feb. 12-14, 2010 (Women).

The SARAH is one of the largest girls/womens tournaments in the nation hosting teams from throughout the United States of American and Canada.  An estimated $2.3  million dollars is generated by the tournament participants within our community through, shopping, dining, entertainment, and hotels hospitalities.  Many team families return to Erie and the surrounding communities for their summer vacations after seeing what the greater Erie has to offer.

We hope that you will read through the tournament program enclosed and encourage others to join your in supporting the SARAH for 2010.  ELLGHA is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
